Fridays is the name of ABC's weekly late-night live comedy show, which aired on Friday nights from April 11, 1980 to April 23, 1982.

Jack and Charles are best friends and Vietnam veterans. Jack feels indebted to Charles for saving his life in Vietnam. Our story begins in the mid 1970's after Charles has lost his wife in a car accident .Jack, happily married, devises a highly unorthodox plan to help Charles overcome his grief. Jack's wife Veronica is enlisted to soothe Charles' grieving heart. This results in Veronica giddily falling for Charles .These feelings quickly evaporate when Charles brings a wild party girl to their home who is brazenly flirting with her husband. Confusion, mayhem and hilarity ensue while all of them engage in emotional and physical indulgence. Norms are challenged and hearts are shattered; but it all comes right in the end. As Shakespeare so aptly put it: "All's well that ends well".

During the summer, a lot of things can happen. In this episodic comedy all the corners of summer are explored through sketches and such.

A young zoologist interrupts his scientific expedition after learning about the sudden death of his father, a major trade figure. From the notes left behind by his father, the young man discovers with horror that he could not bear the betrayal revealed to him by his closest friend and ally, who also turned out to be his wife’s lover.

A woman wakes up alone in a clearing in the middle of a dense forest. Where she found herself, and how to get out of the thicket is unknown. In order not to die, a woman has to remember everything that she knew about survival. But the forest is not a warm island in the ocean, and therefore the health and psyche of a female robinson are at risk. The situation becomes even more complicated and dangerous when she discovers a hut with a related girl, and saving the “Friday” only complicates the life of the heroine.

Andrey, former police officer is trying to find who is responsible for his false accusation and imprisonment.

Who are the young people who are involved in the "Fridays for Future" movement and who relentlessly take to the streets for environmental and climate protection? What are their life like and how will their activism be influenced or changed by current events in 2020 and the coronavirus pandemic? The documentary accompanies them and shows how diverse, creative but also exhausting the protest work is, in that the filmmakers impressively tell of the fears, dreams, successes and defeats of the young people portrayed.
